Summary

The main focus in VT Writer 5.2.0 is the ability to share “Use Files” collections with your colleagues. “Use Files” allows you to interact with your private/organization’s documents using Visi - our AI chat interface. You can create named collections of your private documents and do Q&A, generate content based on your documents etc.

Previously, collections were private to each user. This release allows users to share their collections with colleagues e.g. a collection of “Past Performance” (carefully curated by a proposal manager) can now be shared with relevant colleagues - indivduals or by team(s).

Improvements to existing features

• Share “Use Files” collections with colleagues - also available in the VT Writer Word Add-In
• User admins can control which users have permission to share collections
• System Admin user can configure if local files can be shared (on by default)
