The VT Docs application keeps a log file on the server in which it will write details of any unexpected errors it encounters.
If you are experiencing problems with your VT Docs installation the VisibleThread support team may request that you send them the server log file.
To retrieve the log file from the server follow these steps:
- Use FTP to connect to the VisibleThread server (see http://support.visiblethread.com/entries/23470636-Accessing-the-VisibleThread-Virtual-Appliance-using-Secure-FTP for more details)
- Navigate to the following directory:
Red Hat/Amazon Linux 2:
- Download the catalina.out file from this directory.
