To install the new license follow the two steps below. Note, System Admin user is required to apply new license file.
1. Access VT Docs Application as System Admin
First, you will need to access the VT Docs app and login as a System Admin. In your web browser go to:
https://<VisibleThreadServer IP Address or Name>/login.jsp
If you do not have a System Admin user, follow the article below to create a System Admin or update an existing user to System Admin.
Once logged in click on the System Admin Icon 
then click on the License tab. 
2. Upload License File
Click the Upload License File button :
Then hit Browse, select the license file that you saved earlier and hit "Upload".
You should get the following confirmation message :
3. If Your Existing License is Already Expired, or Blocked by SSO
Have your System Admin user navigate to the following System Admin Login URL: https://yourserver.example.com/systemAdminLogin.jsp
They should then be prompted to login with their system admin username and password.
They can then access the system, and follow the steps above to apply the new license file.
If system admin credentials are unknown, the VT Docs administrator (with direct access to the server terminal) can create new ones or update an existing System Admins password by following this guide: How-to-create-update-system-admin-user-using-backend-scripts
